The article, "A School For Everyone," highlights four classical, Christians schools in the Philadelphia area that have been uniquely shaped to reflect the identities and cultures of the communities in which they were founded. While all maintain core classical, Christian principles, these schools are different in that they each cater to their own circumstances and to their community’s distinguishing characteristics. Likewise, Northstar Classical School desires to offer a classical, Christian education of the highest quality in the city of Middletown, Ohio in a way that best reflects and serves the unique culture of the city and the surrounding areas.
From the beginning, the board of directors has desired that the culture of our school and the make up of our families reflect the culture and diversity of our local community. Over time, we hope to grow in this area until our families and students become an expression of the great things God can do in and through all types of people. We firmly believe that a great education should be made available to all people, not contingent on economic or social status, family of origin, or race. We realize there are obstacles to overcome in order to achieve this, including the reality that many families are unable to afford a private education. But we are continually looking for ways to maximize affordability and raise funds for scholarships that will help families in need of financial assistance.
In order to offer a true and uninhibited classical and Christian education, Northstar Classical School does not accept any state or federal funding. This means all of our funds come from tuition and private donations. If you would like to support our goal of making Northstar a “school for everyone,” by giving monetarily, volunteering, or in any other way, please contact us. Thank you for your interest and support!
